Already Have an Exchange Account? Here's How to Get Moontrader for Free and Receive Commission Bonuses

Moontrader DELUX will only be activated if the exchange recognizes you as our referral.

An existing account on Binance can access unlimited version for free if it is not linked to a referrer (i.e. if the account is empty/clean/not linked by any referral links). To check this, go through the activation steps. If the account is 'clean', you will see the licence upgraded to GRAND level in your personal account. This licence offers the same functionality as DELUX and removes Moontrader's restrictions on the number of orders and trading volumes.

1. Follow these activation steps:

• Register on the Moontrader website and download the terminal via this link if you haven’t already.
• Activate the FREE licence in your personal account.
• Complete KYC and create API keys with Read, Trade and Futures permissions. 

Add an IP limit if needed.

• Connect the created API keys to the terminal and launch the core. For VPS, follow the installation guide.

2. After ~30 minutes, your licence status will update to 'GRAND'. This gives you full access with no limitations on order quantity or trading volume from Moontrader's side, but does not include exchange API limits or platform KYC requirements.
3. Restart the core and start trading.

If you're already registered with Bybit but would like to upgrade to the unlimited license and receive bonuses, you can change your referrer once every 180 days. Once you have changed your referral tag, you will receive a free DELUX licence and a monthly USDT commission rebate of up to 30%.

To connect to the program:

1. Open your Bybit account settings and change the referrer. See the detailed guide in this article. 
2. Follow the activation steps:

• Register on the Moontrader website and download the terminal if you haven’t already: https://account.moontrader.com/login/.
• Activate the FREE licence in your personal account at moontrader.io/licenses.
• Complete KYC and create an API with Read, Trade and Futures permissions. Add an IP limit if needed.

• Connect the created API keys to the terminal and launch the core. For VPS, follow the installation guide.

3. Refresh your Moontrader account page to check that the licence has upgraded automatically to DELUX.
4. Restart the terminal core to use the updated licence.

Unfortunately, OKX does not allow you to change your referrer, nor to check who your current referrer is. If you don't have an account yet, create one via our OKX link and follow the steps below to activate the program.

1. Create an account on the exchange using our OKX referral link.
2. Register on the Moontrader website and activate the FREE licence. Download the appropriate version of the terminal (Win/Mac/Linux/VPS).
3. Complete KYC and create an API with Read, Trade and Futures permissions. Add an IP limit if needed.

4. Connect the created API keys to the terminal and launch the core. For VPS, follow the installation guide.
5. Refresh your Moontrader account page to check that the licence has upgraded automatically to DELUX.
6. Restart the terminal core to use the updated licence.

What is an 'empty / clean' account?

It is an account that wasn't linked to a referral code during registration. However, such a Binance account can receive GRAND status for free in Moontrader, which has no limits. To check this, follow the registration steps described above.

What if I don’t know who my referrer is? Can I find it out?

Unfortunately, Binance and OKX do not provide this option. For Binance, follow the free licence registration steps to see if your licence upgrades to GRAND. To check on Bybit, follow this guide.

What is the difference between the GRAND and DELUX licences?

GRAND has the same features as DELUX, with no limits on the number of orders or trading volumes, but no commission discounts for Binance accounts. DELUX is granted via referral registration and activates all commission discounts and other program bonuses.

Can I activate DELUX/GRAND on subaccounts?

Yes, if the main account meets the conditions, the subaccounts will also receive the licence free of charge.

How long does activation take?

Usually it takes 5-15 minutes after the terminal is first launched.

What is KYC, and why is it required?

KYC (Know Your Customer) is a mandatory identity verification process used by exchanges. It ensures security, prevents fraud and money laundering, and enables trading features/permissions via API keys.

What happens if I stop trading?

Your license will remain unlimited, but the commission bonus = 0 USDT if there is no trading activity.
